Welcome to our new blog where we intend to keep family and friends up to date with the happenings in the Pacheco household. In actuality, this blog site was put up to journal an event in our lives that will impact us, our family and our friends in a huge and wonderful way. We can't say much about it YET. I wish you the best of luck with your adoption.  Having adopted both of my daughters (one from China), I can appreciate the amount of paper work that you must be going through right now.

When all the paper work is done, will you go to Addis Ababa to get your children or will they be flown here first?

Chris,

   We will be flying to Addis Ababa.  We're really trying to beat the rainy season because the courts close down then.  If we can get our paperwork in soon, there is a good possibility that the court will give us the OK before shutting down. This will allow us to get a fly date sooner than later.
