Welcome, to the Pacheco family blog! We are a family of five (soon to be seven) living in Colorado Springs, Colorado. On this blog we hope to share our lives with our family and friends. We are home together almost every day, enjoy homeschooling and look forward to family snuggle time. The outdoors and doing things like camping, hiking and backpacking are our favorites. Road-trips are a blast; we love dogs and being together while enjoying life to the fullest in worshipful adoration of Adonai. At the moment, the thing at the forefront of all our minds is our upcoming adoption of two children from Ethiopia. Therefore, most of what you’ll see on this blog will be related to that. Later, we’ll post other family related stories, pictures, videos and so forth. Here’s a little about our children (youngest to oldest):
 Jessica is our WWF wrestler disguised as a 5-yr old girl in pink. She’s feisty and tough but all girl. She has a kind heart and loves to do things for others. She has a silly side to her which increases exponentially with her bother’s silliness. She likes pretending and dress-up and she can hold her own in a rough game of pirates with her brother!

 Zachary is our deep thinker who can philosophize while wielding a light-saber in battle against sith-lords. He is a very bright boy who loves reading and building. He loves Legos and he can make anything from a multi-level home for Jessica’s toy puppies to advanced space-age weaponry for destroying rock monsters. A humanitarian at heart, he dreams of building things to make the world better.

 Amanda, the eldest, is a bright young professional working in the field of finance in Denver. She is independent, a natural leader. And a proud graduate of Auburn – “War Eagle!” She has a great sense of humor and is adored by her siblings. Amanda is a loyal friend and can be depended on in the hardest of times.
